I have found that how one choses to spend time away from work defines a significant part of their personality. There are some that a familiar destination holds the same promise as a favorite restaurant. You know what to expect, no surprises or disappointments.
I am so fortunate that I am at a point in my life and have a partner who feels a similar way to myself, where we are able to go on adventures and not merely vacations. I love the idea of experiencing new environments and cultures.
Fairly safe to say no restaurant will every greet us as regulars!
