Our first vacation since we moved to Kentucky in January 2022. A truly successful dive vacation to Cozumel where we spent more time underwater than any other single location, except sleeping (but that can't be helped). Thanks again to my wonderful sister-in-law and her husband (Andrea and Carlton) for being our dive buddies and Eucher partners for the trip!!! Squeeking in with a mere 24 hours to spare we were able to get our Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications. There was also another first for this trip, in that I got an underwater photo commission of sort. Riding to and from the dive sites is an intimate environment where you often meet people from around the world. On this occasion we were paired up with a father/daughter combo, where Linnea was getting her first extended underwater experiences. Underwater photography carries a unique set of challenges but I feel my acceptable/crap ratio is definitely improving.
