A quirk of being a hospital employee is the shift in the definition of when the year 'starts'. While the calendar, contract and school year were familiar terms, the corporate year was not. As a result we ended up attending two major conferences to get us back of track for our favorite, CHEST, that happens to fall early in the corporate year. We started 2025 with a trip to the American Thoracic Society conference in San Francisco. Meh from the conference standpoint but had a great exposure to San Franscisco. Next came our second trip with G Adventures to Northern Italy. In celebration of my wife's birthday and an early 5th anniversary event we went back to Breckenridge. We followed this with our third G Adventure to Portugal. Thanksgiving brought us to an interested blended Thanksgiving celebration in Austin. We finished the year with our second trip to Costa Rica. While the volume of photos did take a significant downturn from 2024 with only 6600 , my collection for 2025 represent 1.8% of all of my photos for the year.
